HTC Click Rumors

Jean-Paul Navarro | August 28, 2009

Images of the soon to be budget HTC Android phone have emerged, although not officially announced…  The Click, which should launch in the fourth quarter of this year, is reported to cost around $300 being the  lowest priced Android phones.  Similar to the MyTouch 3G, the phone will obviously have a touch screen and will have a 2.8-inch display.    The phone will also have a microSD card slot and a camera.  Even though Android is a growing market, my doubt is that people don’t seem to know much about Android, and think that its still too young to take over a large share of the smartphone market…  With Nokia announcing their 5230, which could be cheaper, I doubt that people will choose the rookie HTC Click for the experienced Nokia 5230.

Multitouch coming to Google Android 2.0?

Jean-Paul Navarro | August 12, 2009

Rumor has it that the Android 2.0 with Multi-Touch will be coming this year…  But it isn’t official.  Even though some manufacturers like HTC have included their own multi-touch features in phones like the Hero, this update will still be different since you will be adding the feature through a software upgrade that Google is directly involved with.

Developer Luke Hutch demonstrates the use of multi-touch on the G1
