Some HTC phones got held at the US customs because of the patent complaints filed by Apple earlier this month. But Taiwanese corporation has resolved the issue and the phones are released now.
The phones affected by these proceedings were “HTC One X and the HTC EVO 4G LTE”. Now the review procedure of US customs has been completed and the droids are free to enter the country.
Here are the exact wordings from HTC:
“HTC devices have been released by US Customs as they are in compliance with the ITC’s ruling. HTC has completed the review process with US Customs and HTC devices have been released, as they are in compliance with the ITC’s ruling. Future shipments should continue to enter the US and we are confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products.”
So, the wait is over for the people who were waiting for a new HTC droid. Now US customers can buy the new droid phones of HTC.
