The low-end HTC Android smartphone codenamed Golf has finally been caught in the wild off-guard, and some pictures were taken as a result.
In the past two month, there were different rumors about the new smartphone to be launched by HTC. In March, we heard about HTC Golf to be launched by HTC and then the name changed to Wildfire C.
Today we got an updated news and picture of the new device. It looks just like in those rendered images, but packs a different paintjob. According different sources the smartphone will be called Desire C instead of Wildfire C.
According to rumors, phone will contain a single core processor, which is clocked below 1GHz, while running Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ OS with the HTC Sense 4.0 overlay. It will feature a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, 5 megapixel camera, a front-facing video-call camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a microSD slot.
HTC will announce Desire C soon and it will be released by the end of June.
